Except for the rich running condition they create when venting air after it has been measured by the MAF. Still, so many people use them, I have a hard time thinking that BOV's will lead to fouled plugs and cylinder wash-down. The performance benefit of the re-circs seems stronger though, if they can handle the higher pressures. There has been a mountain of debate on this. I have been urged to get rid of my BOV's and may do so. I'm running HKS 2530's as well.
